In 1964, our enterprise was founded by Ingeborg und Paul Gy?rgyfalvay as a small pastry shop in Vienna. The shop's secret of success were specialities like meringue cookies and Austrian doughnuts filled with home-made jam.
13 years later, in 1977, they started production on a large scale, under the name Kuchen-Peter , in Hagenbrunn, Lower Austria.
Large Austrian trade chains were supplied with Austrian doughnuts and meringue cookies. The product range has been widened constantly since then.
Innovation in concrete facts
When the first supermarkets started their own bakery shops, Kuchen-Peter was among the first suppliers of frozen bakery products, among which there are bread, all kinds of rolls, baps, and buns, Austrian doughnuts ("Krapfen"), Danish pastries and puff pastries.
The product range has been developed in permanent cooperation with our customers. Thus, today, Kuchen-Peter is a well-established producer of bakery products in Austria, which supplies the largest chains throughout the country.
