HEIZER was born as an individual company around the mid-60’s, as a small company which built gas storage water heaters in the heart of Milan. This company adopted the name “A.P. Scaldabagni”, the first forerunner to the present company, HEIZER GAS. In spite of the financial difficulties in that period (unfavourable interest rates and high inflation), the “A.P. Scaldabagni” managed to obtain a small space for itself in the national landscape of storage gas and electric water heaters. After a few years this would lead to a first move to places not so distant but decidedly bigger. But it was in 1972 that the actual change to a reality that still exists today occurred: the move to Bollate, a small industrial centre near Milan. Finally, thanks to even bigger spaces for production, marketing and sales under the new name HEIZER GAS were able to begin. The changeover from an artisan business to a commercial business had begun! There is another important date in the history of HEIZER: 1995, when the move to the present headquarters in Garbagnate Milanese took place. In the meantime the Company was able through intuition to see the growth potential of floor-standing commercial water heaters, focusing most of his efforts and investing on such a niche product like the commercial water heater.
