La Fungheria was born in 1983 thanks to an idea of somebody who thought that there was the space, in a big city, for an artisan company of harvesting, manufacture and marketing of mushrooms and truffles. Just like this the first laboratory of production was born in Milan: later the company was going to control other laboratories located in several Italian regions where it was easier to control the harvesting process.
