Green tea, with its rich and pungent flavour, is famously rich in anti-oxidants and therefore particularly beneficial for health. Green tea, which originated in China and is deeply rooted in many Asiatic cultures from Japan to the Middle east, is today widely appreciated throughout the world. Unlike black tea, it does not undergo the fermentation process. It can be drunk as an accompaniment to meals or at any time of the day. It is best on its own, without milk or lemon.
