It is the employees of M1 that make us special. We take great pride in developing new talent and retaining them once they are trained. To develop new talent we use our own apprenticeship scheme. Around one-third of all our employees are former apprentices that we have trained ourselves. Once trained, we are keen to retain and develop the best talent. Our policy is to promote from within the company wherever possible.
For the past 35 years, we have grown our business by having a passion for innovation, excellence and customer satisfaction. This is not just focused on our products but on the whole business. We have participated in world-class manufacturing programmes, university partnerships and have sought the advice of outside experts to make sure our whole business is demonstrating good practices. Furthermore, as an independent company without the burden of many layers of management we can implement customer requests and good ideas quickly.
We take a strong process approach to our business and encourage all our employees to work in improvement teams and get involved with activities outside their normal function.
