MAS Zengrange NZ Ltd (MASZ) design and manufacture technically advanced RF, communications and real time software products. Expertise in digital signal processing supports world leadership in digital communications technologies.

Defence products include communications security, digital radio, programmable modems, fire control systems, remote detonation systems, and command and control systems.

For Command and Control applications MASZ has taken advantage of increased computing and microprocessor performance to base system architecture on hand held, PDA, note-book, and lap-top computers. Outstanding levels of reliability have been proven in field deployment, including operational use world-wide. Highly valued attributes are: the enhanced quality of information transfer, efficiency, and simple Man Machine Interface. The product family includes:-
MASZ Burst Radio Modems for military HF, VHF, and UHF radios which connect battlefield computer systems enabling reliable and economic establishment of mobile tactical intranets
The MAS VANGUARD (Artillery) and MORFIRE (Infantry) C2 Systems are NATO Codified and in service in many countries. High performance is achieved through powerful integrated system communications managers exploiting the advantages of error free packet transmissions

Training and simulation systems developed by MASZ products are in service worldwide. These include: - BIRIS, a Defence Safety Ordnance Group approved radio controlled system for initiating pyrotechnic and explosive devices during large-scale battlefield training exercises

Remote initiation systems incorporating advanced digital signal processing techniques, parallel processing, and trusted software manufactured by MASZ are ideal for use by special forces, military engineers and EOD teams. These are :- DRFD, a two key coded device for long range (circa 50km Line of sight) and reliable detonation of charges which may be left unattended for very long periods PRIME, a compact device optimised for short-term operations and EOD use.
FLOATING PRIME, a version of PRIME designed for use in an amphibious environment.
VIKING STI is a compact dual shock initiation device designed to initiate shock tube either manually or by remote initiation.
