Cylindrical rollers are used in bearings where the majority load is in the radial direction. Although mostly cylindrical in shape, some specialist bearings have convex barrel shapes or concave profiles depending on the application type and conditions. Pure cylindrical roller bearings cannot support any load in an axial direction. If axial support is required a separate bearing arrangement will be required.

- In addition to above mentioned specifications rolling elements with special tolerance limits (plus tolerances, hardness as low as 45 HRc etc) can be supplied on request.
- In addition rollers can be provided with end drops (Type ZB) as a stress relieving feature thereby increasing life performance.
- In addition rolling elements can be manufactured with different materials (Stainless Steel SS, Mild Steel MS) if the quantities required are sufficient for economical production.
