Simple superphosphate is a chemical fertilizer that contains phosphorus as plant nutrient. It is relatively very cheap and contains many micro nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminum, sulfur and gypsum. The Plaster works as a SOIL CONDITIONER. The SSP is prepared by reaction of finely ground phosphate rock with diluted sulfuric acid. The SSP is available in powder and granulate. The powdered form is called PSSP and ranulada form is called GSSP. The PSSP and GSSP are available on two levels. Level A and Level B. The ranking is made in the soluble phosphorus oxide base in water present in the product. The level contains 16% soluble phosphorus oxide in water and the B layer contains 14% W.S. P2O5. The granulate super phosphate is slightly more expensive in comparison to the PSSP because of the cost of granulation. The GSSP slowly dissolves in the water present in the soil, the crop is then available for a longer time. This in SSP without phosphoric acid is very useful for alkaline soils. The PSSP & GSSP are white, cream, gray, brown or black and bagged in bags of 50 kg.
The SSP is prepared by reaction of phosphate rock finely ground and dilute sulfuric acid. The phosphate rock is available in Jordan, Egypt, India, China, Israel, Morocco, Syria, Senegal and many other African countries. Sulfuric acid is produced using sulfur as raw material.
