MERIT combines the finest drawn extrusion available with over 125 years of hinge manufacturing tradition and experience to offer the widest selection of solid brass extruded door size hinges in the industry. These plain-bearing hinges are manufactured from any one of four different extrusions with proportionally different size knuckle diameters. This important feature allows MERIT to increase the knuckle diameter in proportion to the size of the hinge for a larger bearing surface and a uniform appearance. Hinges are supplied with button tips. Optional decorative brass finials are available at an additional charge. These full-mortise, template hinges are designed for installation on medium weight, low-frequency doors and conform to the most current specifications established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
