Net Safety Monitoring offers several options for applications requiring SIL2 qualified devices: our entire Phoenix Triple IR and UV/IR flame detector lines have received qualification as SIL2 devices by exida® and our advanced dual-channel Millennium II Gas Detector is SIL2 qualified by TÜV SÜD. Net Safety Systems Solutions also offers a variety of customized technology options for PLC based F&G and ESD safety sytems with up to SIL3 safety levels.

The Phoenix Triple IR Flame Detector, UV/IR Flame Detector, and Millennium II Gas Detection Series are also FM performance certified with CSA, ANSI-UL/ISA, ATEX, INMETRO and GOST-R approvals for Class I, Division 1 applications as well as ABS Marine approved with IP67/66 ratings.

The FMEDA testing performed by exida® and TÜV SÜD yielded a Safe Failure Fraction that qualifies these instruments as SIL2 devices in accordance with the IEC 61508 standard. The SIL2 qualification allows their installation into any SIL2 or SIL3 rated system (level 3 with adequate proof-testing and redundancy).
