The company employs nearly seven hundred employees. Managerial personnel have university education and are highly knowledgeable specialists. The skeleton staff of the company is formed of process engineers, mechanists, power engineers, metrologists, and laboratory personnel with longstanding work record. The company pays much attention to professional growth and qualifications improvement of the personnel. The company’s employees of all levels are provided with equal opportunities to take part in qualifications improvement courses, international seminars, and scientific conferences.In 2007-2008, the company participates in the project partially financed by the EU in accordance with the Measure “Development of Labour Force Competences and the Ability to Adapt to Changes” of Priority II “Human Resource Development” of the SPD (Single Programming Document). In accordance with this Measure, 47 employees of the company take part in foreign language, computer literacy, law, strategy, marketing, management, accounting and international accounting, and social abilities training programmes. Many employees take several courses.The company has implemented the practice of competence flexibility tables for employees of all divisions, which are filled in and revised on an annual basis. Yearly employee training and qualification improvement pans are prepared; funds are allocated for the improvement of qualifications and development of competences.
