MKM was founded in 1953 by James "Don" Moore. MKM's primary focus at the time was tool and die work. After 8 years of success in New Albany, Indiana, it was time to relocate to a larger building in Clarksville, Indiana. During this time, IBM and General Electric were a big source of business for MKM. To continue the growth enjoyed thus far, MKM expanded its high volume capabilities. Soon after, automotive companies turned to MKM for their component part needs.
