SuperSeal is a proprietary, cast-modified polypropylene sealant web that competes with OPP and PE for bag film and flow wrap laminates. With a seal layer six times thicker than most OPP grades, seals are hermetic and leakers are a thing of the past. SuperSeal has an excellent water barrier and hot tack, and easily seals through contaminations, such as food dust and spills. SuperSeal is clearer and more scratch resistant than PE, and is perfect for packing abrasive products in a clear window pouch. SuperSeal is also stiffer than PE and often allows for downgauging, which helps save both money and the environment by reducing the amount of packaging used. SuperSeal can be laminated to OPP, PET, and paper, and is available is many gauges ranging from 40ga to over 3 mils. The film is available in clear or white.

Hi-Z (pronounced high-zee) is a revolutionary new metallized sealant web that is aimed at replacing expensive metallized triplex materials without sacrificing barrier, optics or performance. It is a proprietary film, extruded in-house. Hi-Z is an excellent alternative to triplex materials, such as PET/MET PET/PE laminates, that allows our customers to use less packaging, which saves both cost and the environment. Hi-Z also provides significantly better heat seals and higher speeds than OPP/MET OPP laminates without sacrificing barrier. Hi-Z is available in 1.0 mil, 1.2 mil, 1.6 mil, and 2.0 mil thicknesses, can be laminated to OPP or PET and reverse printed for excellent gloss. It can also be laminated to a surface printed paper as a replacement for PPFP laminates in applications where the absolute barrier of foil is too expensive or simply not necessary. Hi-Z is suitable for stand up pouches with or without zippers, VFFS and HFFS applications for dry foods, confections, nut packaging, fractional pack coffee, and many more. Hi-Z also makes an excellent flow wrapmaterial.

N-Coat is a clear laminate with outstanding gas barrier properties, developed primarily for the nuts, dry foods, and snack markets. N-Coat uses a new, unique nano-based technology: an ultra thin coating is applied on a 48 gauge polyester (PET) film laminated to a SuperSeal or PE sealant web. The result is a clear film with a gas barrier that competes with most metallized structures. N-Coat has an oxygen barrier of 0.07 cm3/ 100in2/ 24hrs. This is 2-3 times better than a metallized PET and almost 10 times better than PVdC coated PET at a lower coating weight and cost, and none of the negative environmental implications that go hand in hand with chlorine-based PVdC.
