Spectroscopy is not possible without fiber optic cables. m-u-t offers a whole range of fiber optic cables which are optimized for use in spectroscopy. These are fused silica fiber optic cables with plastic coatings and SMA 905 connectors at both ends. The SMA 905 standard guarantees the perfect connection to light sources, spectrometers and measurement equipment. The standard fiber for TRISTAN spectrometers has a 400 m diameter and 1 m to 10 m in length.
