Material Used Basically the statues are made of Copper and Brass. In some Brass statues there is coating of copper which gives an antique look to the statue. In Copper statues, silver and gold can be added to increase the beauty and value. The cheapest statues are made of Brass. All the statues are handmade by skilled artists. All the products have to be passed by the Department of Archeology to see that they do not carry any ancient value. Finishing determines the value of both the statues and the carvings. The better the finishing, more is the value of the statue. A statue with finishing to minute details is costlier compared to the one with average finishing.
