1. Chopped strand mat is made from fiberglss strands chopped to length and bonded together with powder/emulsion binder. Chopped strand mat is used primarily for hand lay-up processes, filament winding and press molding of FRP products. Typical products include bathroom accessories, pipe, building materials, automobiles, funiture and other FRP products. 2. Surface tissue FRP is divided into S-SM series for pipe winding and S-HM series for hand lay up. Bath of two are main used in the surface layers of FRP products. The S-SM tissue is mainly used on pipe and tank winding products. The S-HM tissue is chiefly used in the products with complicated geometriccurve. 3. Fiberglass roofing tissue is mainly used as substrates for water-proof roofing materials, e. G.: Asphalt mat. The asphalt mat made with S-RM series base has an excellent weatherproofing. And longer service life; S-RM-C series means tissue with yarn. 4. Stitch combo mat is a complex mat made by stitching together a layer of rovings consisting of parallel alined(0.90)and a layer of evenly distributed chopped strands. The product is widely used in pultrusion, hand lay-up and RTM processes. Typical products include pultruded parts, pipe, storage tanks, wind generator blades and other FRP products.
