NORDENIA's co-extruded films are tailored exactly to the requirements of our customers, who convert them into effective, flexible packaging as lamination films.

Barrier films are used to increase the shelf life and quality of food and pet food.

On the one hand, the barrier against moisture prevents semi-moist products, such as baked goods, from drying out. On the other hand, it prevents dry foods and detergents from absorbing moisture. Oxygen barriers prevent the oxidation process of sensitive products that contain oils and fat and protect from the growth of mold. Flavor barriers protect the intrinsic flavor of packaged goods such as coffee and tea and protect the products from foreign smells in the environment (such as the smell of gasoline) at the same time. Opaque films prevent oxidation reactions and thus the rancidity of products containing fat.
