Synthetic is the most used rubber type. In many applications, it is used instead of natural rubber. The mixtures made of SBR rubbers have easier process comparing to the natural rubber. They can be easily extruded. Even if their elastic behaviors are not as good as natural rubber, their corrosion and heat resistance are superior to the natural rubber. They are resistant to solvent, diluted acids, bases and liquids that are not polar, but they are also not resistant to fuel and oils. They are mostly used in the automobile tire production in the industry.
