With sales growth of 11.9% to EUR 759.0 million, HARTMANN continued its growth in the first six months of 2009. With sales growth of 14.0%, the three medical core segments Wound Management, Incontinence Management, and Infection Management continued to drive overall growth. With pleasing organic and inorganic growth in the first six months of 2009, the HARTMANN GROUP improved its operating consolidated net income more than average by 29.5% compared to the previous year. Operating consolidated net income was EUR 29.1 million as at June 30, 2009. Operating EBIT increased by 20.8% to EUR 47.2 million.
