Standard Features Sanitary construction includes round inside corners with a 2B interior finish and interior welds fully ground and polished. Exterior material is 2B with welds taped and buffed. A 2-inch clamp-type outlet ferrule is located in recessed alcove to prevent damage. Sturdy-stacking corners allow stacking two high full or three high empty. Specially designed lifting channels permit the Porta-Tank to be lifted from all sides, resulting in easier and faster handling and less labor costs. An 18- or 22 1/2-inch diameter positive seal manway with quick-release clamp gives easy access to inside of Porta-Tank for inspection and cleaning. Available with bolt-type clamp for pressure unloading. Optional Features A 2-inch, disc-type outlet valve with safety lock for easy-to-reach unloading. Safety lock and position of outlet valve do not permit accidental loss of product or contamination of product in lower stacked Porta-Tanks. Available with Mueller Matic^® automatic washing system which cleans and sanitizes the Porta-Tank^® inside, automatically saving time and labor costs on maintenance. Available with industrial-grade finish: 2B interior with welds buffed, keeping non-sanitary products safe from loss. Other fitting options available at reasonable costs.
