The Company has developed a comprehensive portfolio of innovative products to provide exceptional safety and security features for business and home security.

Shutter Technology That’s In Increasing Demand All Over The World

Security Doors Firm Is On A Roll

The company’s list of customers makes for very impressive reading. Among them are top football venues and major transport hubs.

P D Technology’s domestic customers include London’s new Wembley stadium, Manchester City’s new Eastlands Stadium, Arsenal’s new Emirates Stadium and Heathrow Airport while abroad the firm is involved in work with Lahore Airport in Pakistan and the Istanbul underground.

It also supplies UK high street giants such as PC World, Dixon’s and Beaverbrooks The Jewellers.

The firm is able to attract such high-profile customers because it is the market leader in roller shutter technology. European and British safety protocols call for large spaces to have this technology, to help people get out safely in the event of a fire. It is in this niche market that P D Technology Ltd has made its mark.

Starting off with the likes of Hampden Park, Ibrox and Bradford’s very own Valley Parade, the firm has developed a reputation as being the supplier for sports stadiums.

Last year the firm turned over more than £2 million and claims to be on course to top £3 million over the next financial year. A third of its business comes in export trade, with clients all over the world taking advantage of the product. P D Technology is the vision of just one man – Gary Ryecroft.

After leaving school, Mr Ryecroft, Bradford born and bred, had a spell in the Navy before starting work for a local roller shutter company and then working for a while in Australia. With ten years at senior levels in the industry behind him, Mr Ryecroft became aware of the increasing legislative requirements on constructors of large buildings with open spaces and recognised a gap was due to open in the market for anyone providing the technology.

“In an emergency, stadiums, shopping malls or any other building which have a large flow of people, need to have a procedure where they can get every-body out safely and quickly” Mr Ryecroft said.
