PDS Safety (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

PDS International began in 1993 as a joint venture company formed between a Singaporean and Thai entrepreneurs. The company continued to expand further and an equity alliance was formed with Uvex and the Bacou Group in Asia in 1998 to leverage on the strengths of European and American manufacturers and also to capitalize on growth opportunities in Asian markets.

In 1999, PDS became a subsidiary of Uvex Safety Germany and expanded regionally with the establishment of a subsidiary in Malaysia and an affiliate in Thailand, including a network of regional distributors. Subsequently, in year 2000, the company relocated its head office in Singapore to its current premises at Pandan Crescent.

The company continues to take big strides in the occupational health, safety and environmental arena by consistently maintaining their philosophy in the business of people protection and adapting its business model to globalization. PDS became a management-and-employee-owned company in 2007. Without corporate constraints, PDS can now offer our valued customers with a wider gamut and depth of brands, products and services.
