Designed, engineered, assembled and available only from Weber, the Model 2600 Series label applicator printer applicators offers a selection of on-demand, thermal/thermal-transfer print engines from renowned manufacturers Zebra and Sato. The units print 203- or 300-dpi text, bar codes and graphic images at speeds up to 12” per second, and will dispense labels up to 4.5” wide and 6” in length. Labels are printed in a cost-efficient, next-out mode, and then immediately are applied to cartons or products on the production or packaging line. Utilizing the tamp-blow method of application, a printed pressure-sensitive label is peeled from its liner and is retained by vacuum on the applicator’s tamp pad. The pad is extended (8" standard stroke) and blown onto the product or package from approximately 0.25”

The Weber Alpha 86 label applicator combines speed with precision to create a line of widely versatile label applicators. Pressure-sensitive labels are applied in-line using the reliable wipe-on method, where a label automatically is peeled from its liner, and then gently but firmly is affixed to the carton or product. The system applies labels up to 5.9" wide and 39.0" long at speeds up to 80 or 200 feet per minute, with ±0.03" placement accuracy. The higher-speed version is also offered in a model that accommodates labels up to 5.9" wide, with special configurations available for even wider labels. The Weber Alpha 86 can be oriented to apply labels on the tops, sides, or bottoms of products. To add to the system’s versatility, it is available in either a left- or right-hand version.
