Established in 1990, by personnel with over 20 years of railway experience, Polysafe is dedicated to the design and manufacture of high quality level crossings. The company has two main objectives. These are to provide safer and long term, cost effective alternatives to existing level crossings and to supply products which are versatile enough to be used as patch replacements for deteriorating concrete or rubber panelled level crossings. The steel framed, polymer concrete designs were conceived in close liaison with experienced rail engineers to give total durability, good alignment and an entirely smooth ride with high skid resistance. They have proved to be the safest and most versatile level crossings you can specify. As a company we claim a number of industry firsts. For example, we have designed and manufactured level crossings to suit highly curved track down to 130 metre radius. At Trafford Park, Manchester, curved level crossings with checkrail have been successfully installed and our special panels are also being used regularly for converging track situations and S and C level crossings. We are constantly striving to improve all aspects of our crossing systems, making them even safer and more efficient.
