Plug-in connector strips are used in applications where circuits have to be isolated easily and conveniently. In a pre-wired installation the plug-in connector allows a fast and safe connection, which reduces the possibility of error when re-connecting. To enable the minimum electrical resistance across the plug-in connector, the products are designed with a high contact pressure between the male and female poles. To increase electrical contact, an additional contact screw is obtainable on the horizontal style units and a special design with a leading pole is also available. In the leading pole case, the earth conductor connects first and disconnects last. Between every pole there are mounting holes and, in all designs, the screws are captive and raised ready for wiring
