Therapeutic indication : The root stalk is useful in local inflammations, nausea, asthma, bronchitis, hiccups and in pain. The rhizome of the plant is said to be carminative, stimulant and a tonic. It has been described as useful, especially as an anti-asthmatic agent. Clinical trials have been conducted in tropical eosinophilia, with promising results.
Safety Data : Generally non-toxic and non-sensitizing. Use well diluted. Do not take internally. Do not apply directly to the skin, eyes or mucous membranes. Pregnant women, nursing mothers and children should not use this product without first consulting a licensed healthcare practitioner.
