Habitat : Native to the mediterranean region, now cultivated worldwide in California, Portugal, Yugoslavia, Morocco, China. The main oil-producing countries are France, Spain and Tunisia.
Odour : Strong, fresh, minty-herbaceous scent and a woody-baslamic undertone.
