Single and Universal Rectangular Bellows are available in four different type of corners and two basic span shapes.
They can be used for the same applications than Circular Expansion joints with the only inherent limitations of their configuration.
Size is only restricted by transport limits although oversized assemblies can be shipped in sections for installation on site.

· Corner Types:
The specific application and working conditions will indicate the correct choice of span shape and corner configuration. For low pressure applications “V” Span is used. For higher pressures “U” Span is preferred.
· Single Miter “V” Span:
This is the most common and economical type used to compensate thermal expansion and can readily be bolted or welded to the connecting duct.
This is preferred in low cycle and vibration-free applications.
· Double Miter “V” Span:
This type of corner is slightly more expensive to manufacture however it provides higher life cycles under the same working conditions.
· Camera Corners “V” Span:
This is mainly used for low-pressure applications. It has good life cycles characteristics and price is lower than for Double Miter Corner design.
· Rounded Corners “U” Span:
This type should be considered for high pressure applications where vibration and life cycles are important factors. Rounded corners are the most expensive to manufacture.
