This year, Dream Multimedia, the leading supplier of Linux-based set-top boxes, is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its Enigma operating system.
It is a decade since Dream first presented its software for Linux-based set-top boxes.
Since then, the system’s successor, Enigma2, has been introduced successfully by Dream.
In 2000, the company presented the DM7000, the first Dreambox to be equipped with the Enigma operating system.
In the years that followed, the company made the Open Source project what it is today:
a stable, powerful software platform for set-top boxes, combining all the strengths of digital media usage in a single system.
