There are over 700 different types of Eucalyptus trees in the world, over 500 of them are used to produce essential oil. We chose the most easily recognized & the most delicious variety, Blue Gum Eucalyptus. A very tall evergreen tree reaching up to 400 feet (120m.) The tree is native to Australia and Tasmania, but has been cultivated in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, California, Russia and China.
Eucalyptus essential oil contains a mild analgesic that relieves muscular and skeletal pain. Eucalyptus also has a strong antiseptic effect, opens the respiratory tract, and is one of the strongest essential oils to fight viral infections. It has a soothing & calming effect on the whole body and strengthens the immune system. Eucalyptus blends well with Grapefruit, Lemon Myrtle, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Rosemary, Sage, Spearmint, Tea tree, citrus & herb essences.
