Starting in 1986 and selling new, leading edge, silicon chip technology to UK manufacturers of electronic equipment on behalf of US manufacturers. Today we sell components and now sell our own complete electronics solutions with software to all UK markets. Wireless and GPS chips and sub systems now feature strongly in our sales and expertise. Overall We make ever more complex, new and leading edge, electronic components and systems easy for industry and other markets to use. Sequoia has been involved in electronics technology since 1986. Always at the cutting edge of components and design helping customers design in components and subsystems to their end equipment. Continuing the theme of selling electronic technology Sequoia has added additional strands of complex components and related products such as sensors and antennas dedicated to additional customer bases. Sequoia continues to be a highly technical company offering design and technical expertise in all its chosen areas. Core competencies range from GPS, GSM, GPRS, 3G technologies for OEM equipment along with many sophisticated Video chipsets and subsystems through to embedded module products and custom software. Latterly, finished products designed by Sequoia for specific customer groups address an additional non electronic customer base. The largest, original and still growing part of Sequoia comprising of sales of complex semiconductors, wireless components and subsystem modules to volume OEM customers and smaller quantity custom products. These are designed in by Sequoia and sold on behalf of the manufacturer. Latterly our wireless competence, along with market demand for wireless products, has seen a strong growth in GPS products, machine to machine modems, Bluetooth industrial, WiFi industrial, antennas, custom batteries and many others complementing our wireless electronic components competence. Latterly an increasing number of wireless products are Sequoia designed. Increasingly we will seek to generate and offer own designed products where we will be able to offer strong and consistant product and design-in support along with project enabling pricing and be able to ship wherever required. kiosks4business (complete touchscreen based kiosk solutions) was formed to take advantage of two clear market trends: an increasing gap between technological possibility and market awareness of these possibilities, as well as an increasing customer disinterest in whats in the box. This new customer base just wants all of the advantages that come with the technology with the detail being taken care of by us. Our past experience in display technology; computers, wireless and software has been utilised to create products that work out-of-the-box for Local Authorities, the Police, NHS, Broadcasters and Retailers to name but a few. Our reputation is now such that customers are assured that Sequoias technology offer is still cutting edge but a full solution meeting their needs precisely. kiosks4business creates and makes complete solutions including mechanical design, electrical design, software, creative design, network and hardware installation, training, service and maintenance. We specialize in offering the complete solution including content upload and remote server managing. Examples of Kiosks4business products are PARENT INFORMATION POINT (PIP) for the Childrens Information Service supporting Early Years programmes within each local Council. SurveyPoint, a surveying system designed to harvest public opinion using mykiosk touchscreens and Kiosks4business custom software deployed within specific geographical areas and demographies. Both systems are being taken up by Local Government with PIP being widely deployed at many Local Councils. Overall Kiosks4business seeks to sell electronics and software to different customer bases that need the complete solution and are not interested in the technical detail. The custom software is tailored to each market and customer.
