Progression 1 is a microalgae substitute to be used primarily during the zoeal stages and in lessor quantities during the mysis and post larval stages. Menu 1 Zoea is manufactured with the latest micro-encapsulation technology and with the highest quality ingredients that result in a healthy supplement, which promotes high survival, vigorous growth, and strong development of larval shrimp.
Plankton meal, squid meal, protein powder premix, algae meal, purified fish oils, vegetable oil (source of 18:2n6 & 18:3n3), lecithin, torula yeast, minerals, vitamin C (phosphate), cholesterol, vitamins, astaxanthin and/or canthaxanthin, ethoxyquin.
Progression 1 larval feed is designed to replace most of the algae required for rearing zoeal stage larval penaeid shrimp. Where common rearing techniques might utilize 100,000 algal cells per milliliter as the primary food source, Progression 1 may replace up to 75% of this algae requirement with Menu 1 feeding levels of 1 to 6 grams per ton (1,000 liters) per day. Adjustments may be required based upon specific culturing conditions.
