the Eberbacher Dampf-Seilerwaren-Fabrik produced agricultural binding products such as sisal harvesting twine and so-called sheaf band as well as cattle rope and high-grade harness straps for horse-drawn carriages. In the 50`s the market was demanding packaging cord made from sisal and hemp. Soon after this the company was receiving requests for machines for more-efficient and energy-saving string tying of all types of goods.
