COMPANY PROFILE

SICOR resulted from a partnership involving various companies that made rope by hand, and it was established in September 1947. On 29 December 1971, it became a public limited company. Its capital stock currently stands at 5.000.000,00 €.

SICOR is a company highly specialized in the production of all kinds of ropes for Business, Industry (namely, technical products), Agriculture and Fisheries.

SICOR is a company specializing in the production of all kinds of rope-making. For application in five vital sectors:

1 – Fisheries
2 – Industry
3 – Agriculture
4 – Business
5 – Shipping

This company is devoted to the overseas market, as it directly or indirectly exports nearly all of its production.

SICOR, with its vast experience in manufacturing lines, cables and ropes, competes in all foreign markets. Its production is supported by some 450 workers and qualified technicians who ensure the internationally renowned quality of its products.

SICOR currently produced a very wide range of products, using both synthetic and natural fibers.

SICOR is located in Cortegaça, on a plot of land of around 75.000 m²,, with some 46.000 m² worth of indoor space.
