Spaulding Composites, Inc., located in Rochester, New Hampshire, was founded in 1873 and became a leader in the thermoset composites industry in the mid-1900's. Spaulding developed many innovative products over the past 135 years with many of these products in use today across a variety of applications and markets, including Heavy Equipment, Air Tools, Cryogenic, and Bearing Retainers. Spaulding was purchased in 2003 by Metapoint Partners, an investment company headquartered in Peabody, Massachusetts, and Donnita Rockwell became President/ CEO of Spaulding in 2005. Rockwell immediately began an aggressive campaign to improve operational efficiencies and invest in product development, innovation and process upgrades.
