We have been in business since 1970 and have developed a worldwide network of suppliers and skilled restorers. For many years I had a shop on the corner of 53rd and 2nd in Manhattan, and in 1975 I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Since then I have been a "dealer's dealer," selling wonderful pieces to other dealers at wholesale prices. Over the years we have earned the reputation for service, integrity, and knowledge. I hope you enjoy our website and find something you like to add to your collection. To see what our clients have to say, please read their testimonials.
You might say I was born into the business. My father had a large costume jewelry company called "Jewels by Bogoff", and by the time I was nine or ten I had learned most of the manufacturing process. I bought my first pocket watch while I was still in high school. There were some fine old master watchmakers in New York then who were very generous with their knowledge, and by the time I finished my university education I had a modest collection and had learned how to repair almost anything. From the beginning I was fascinated by working on complicated, unusual, and very early pocket watches, and over the years I have handled many extraordinary pieces.
We no longer have a retail store, and our inventory is kept at our local bank in suburban San Francisco. These days all of our repair time is completely taken up by our inventory.
