Sunmax dental membrane is a semi-translucent, compressed, non-friable matrix made of highly purified porcine dermal type i collagen without further cross-linking or chemical additives. The membrane retains its structure integrity even when wet. Adaption to the contours of the bone wall is easily achieved. Fixation with sutures or pins is possible. The membrane is completely absorbable, eliminating the need for the second surgical procedures often required to remove a non-resorbable membrane. sunmax dental membrane appears semi-translucent and non-slippery when wet.
