Takeuchi Manufacturing has been present in the UK since 1981, when the first machines were imported as the Priestman Mini-Mustang. There are still very many of those vintage machines around, highly prized by their owners. In 1996 Takeuchi set up its UK subsidiary based in Rochdale and in 2001 set up its southern depot at Thatcham, Berkshire. Takeuchi’s 15,000 sq ft facility stocks mini-excavators, tracked loaders and breakers. The UK based facility also has a dedicated parts division and service team all backed by National Distribution via its network of dealers.
