The semi-cushioned seating car developed and manufactured by TRC is the first generation product of high-speed (200km/h) railway passenger car. In order to meet its dynamic performance, the carbody height is lowered a lot. Novel decoration materials are introduced for adding the luxury atmosphere.The planar arrangement of the car is as follows: vestibules at its two ends; power distribution room, electric water boiler, attendant’s room at the “B” end of car; two toilets at the “A” end of car; passenger compartment at the central part. The lower part of the car is equipped with aprons to cover the subassemblies and facilities underneath the carbody so as to meet dynamic performance.The seat is of adjustable aviation seat with a tea cup holder integrated inside the armrest. The texture of the seat is harmonious with the internal tone of the car. Passenger information display screen is installed over the inner end entrance door. Integrated toilet with dejecta collecting device of oriental type and western type is provided at two ends of the car respectively. The toilet is equipped with toilet paper holder, washing basin, hand dryer, mirror, etc. One end of the car is provided with drinking water machine, washing room, while the other end is equipped with dustbin and air-conditioning control cabinet, etc.The adopted bogie is of PW-200 type. The electric connector is of large power type widely used in railway passenger cars. Power is supplied via two circuits. Tightly sealed gangway diaphragm or rubber diaphragm is employed. Air is supplied for brake system via two pipes. The external paint tone will be the popular color of the high-speed cars or as the client’s preference. The entrance door is of air-driven centralized-controlled plug-sliding door.
