UnitedCan began operations in 1952 at a modest plant in the center of Jakarta, manufacturing cans for such household products as cooking oil, shoe polish and hair cream. A 1969 joint venture with Japan’s Toyo Seikan Kaisha brought an infusion of new technology that expanded its capabilities in manufacturing and product development. By the time it opened a far larger facility in 1975, UnitedCan had become Indonesia’s pace-setting manufacturer of metal containers and closures.
At UnitedCan, we have maintained our leading position in the rigid packaging sector by staying ahead of the curve on new manufacturing technology, as well as the latest trends in processing, warehousing and shipment. Through this page, we’re sharing news of those development with our customers
