Automatic calibration Instrument diagnostics Automatic battery charging Downloads and stores instrument data Maintains database records Up to five instruments The Industrial Scientific DS1000 Docking Station is an automated instrument management system developed for use with the iTX, ATX612*, ATX620* and TMX412* multi-gas monitors and the T82 single gas monitor. The Docking Station system is designed to reduce the time and costs spent manually calibrating instruments while reducing the liabilities associated with instrument maintenance and record keeping. The system consists of a master control and PC interface station and up to five instrument docking modules for complete two-way instrument communication. The control software and database allow the system to automatically log instruments into a data management system, initiate functional tests and full instrument calibrations, download and retrieve calibration information and survey data, store all calibration and maintenance records, set and upload instrument alarm and calibration parameters and recharge batteries. The master control station is capable of accepting up to 12 gas inputs which allows numerous instrument configurations to be managed in the same database.
