Plasma Spraying is a Thermal Spraying Process that uses an arc as a heat source that ionizes an inert gas to melt a coating material which is finally propelled onto the substrate. A major advantage of spraying the material via the Plasma Spray Method is its ability to generate higher heats to melt ceramics as well as the ability to control how long the material dwells in the flame, ultimately allowing precise control over the final result.
