Whyte-Hall was originally started in 1946 principally as an importing agent of mining equipment from the United Kingdom. In 1950 the company was contracting and servicing the Government departments, Councils, Quarries and General Contractors throughout N.S.W. During this period Whyte-Hall began to look for other markets within Australia by working closely with Metalliferous Mines within Australia, it began developing specialised equipment for use underground. These products quickly found a home in many of Australia''s underground Coal Mines. Whyte-Hall''s name became firmly entrenched as a supplier of ground support equipment for Australia''s major coal mines. Today Whyte-Hall is firmly established as a large manufacturer of Engineering products to meet the needs of many industries. The company exports its products to Canada, Europe, England, North America, Scandinavia, The Middle East, South East Asia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Many of the products Whyte-Hall now supplies have found uses in a variety of industries like Construction, Emergency Services, Petrochemical as well as Mining and many other industries alike.
