COMPANY PROFILE

  Established in 1967, Wilcomatic regained its independence after a management buyout from Inchcape in October 2007. Wilcomatic machines and chemicals wash over 20 million vehicles each year, meaning we are the leading vehicle wash supplier in the UK. We supply and maintain all types of equipment associated with vehicle valeting for large supermarket chains, petrol companies, single independent forecourts, and commercial operations, such as bus depots and trains. We have over 1600 washes under contract and have developed software which allows us to remotely diagnose and fix problems as they occur, meaning less down-time for our customers. In July 2008, we made the acquisition of PKS in Leicester, a company which manufactures water reclaim systems. Other products and services we offer include rainwater harvesting systems, vacuums, gates, ramps, electrical and pat testing through our national team of 70+ service technicians ready to fix problems as they occur anywhere within the UK. We are also founder members of the Car Wash Association, a lobbying group whose aim is remove unregulated, uninsured and unsafe hand washing operations. In addition the association looks to advice the industry on new innovations, legislation and best practice.
