Actions It is a broad spectrum antibacterial against Grampositive and Gramnegtive bacteria, as well as Mycoplasma and Leptospira etc. It has superior antibacterial activity than tylosin against Peripneumonitis Actinobacillus, Pasteurella haemolytica-multocida bacteria and Mycoplasma in poultry and livestock
For the control of livestock animal respiratory tract infections particularly due to Actinobacillus Pleuropneumonia, Pasteurella multocida and Avian Mycoplasmosis. Tilmicosin is also effectiv against gram-posive and some gram-negative microorganisms , spirochete, Mycobacterium, etc. It should not be used to egg producing hen and horse species.
Swine: for the prophylaxis and control of respiratory tract infections due to Actinobacillus Pleuropneumonia, Mycoplasmosis, Pasteurella haemolitica, Mycobacterium , etc.
Chicken: for the prophylaxis and control of respiratory tract infections due to Mycobacterium , Haemophilus parasuis, Pasteurella multocida, etc.
