Hydrogen peroxide – (H2O2) – is the product formed in antraquinone process, then concentrated by distillation. The final product is obtained in form of stabilized aqueous solutions in cocentrations 35%, 50%, 60% by weight. Hydrogen peroxide is clear and colourless liquid. It dissolves in water in any proportion. It decomposes readily under influence of many factors, mainly contaminants and increased temperature, therefore high caution is required in storing and handling operations involving its presence. Specialists of the producer (i.e. of the Peroxide Compound Department) can provide consultancy in handling, storage and aplications of hydrogen peroxide.
